Environmental Educator

Part-Time
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The successful candidate will work with another Environmental Educator in an afterschool program for 5th or 6th graders focusing on Climate Change. The program meets every other week during the APS school year. Additionally, there is a monthly Saturday morning event for the students.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Collaborate with the Executive Director and other Environmental Educators to develop program curriculum, build parent and educator relationships, assist in staffing occasional community education programs at Carlito Springs.

Other Information/Requirements: 

The successful candidate will have hands-on environmental education experience with elementary and/or middle school students. Additionally, the candidate should be comfortable working outside, regardless of the weather circumstances. Projected weekly range of hours: 10-15, work in ABQ and East Mountains.
