Director of Development and Communication

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

To generate income for the organization through donor cultivation and direct asks to individuals and businesses; to manage donor data base and gift acknowledgement; to develop fundraising strategy and manage fundraising calendar.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

To assist in development and implementation of marketing and public relations strategies and of community outreach plan; to assist in planning and execution of special events; to develop web site.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Must have proven track record in all areas of responsibility; must have good writing and communication skills; graphic design experience a plus; fluency in Spanish a plus. Must be willing to commute to Chimayo and Abiquiu.
