Database Specialist

Type of Job: 
Part-Time
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Responsible for all aspects of SalesForce CRM, including data entry, affiliate wide report development, and software maintenance. The ideal candidate will maintain the integrity of the database, conduct periodic software updates, maximize effectiveness of the DB software, and help staff track, analyze and report activities.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

 Writes and maintains a database Policies and Procedures manual.
 Develops and follows a consistent database maintenance program.
 Communicates with the Development & Communications Director, the Executive Director, and staff as to what is needed in the way of support.
 Maximizes the database capabilities to segment, track and analyze the effectiveness of fundraising campaigns.

Other Information/Requirements: 

At least three (3) years of experience in database management, specifically with SalesForce, is required
Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office Suites including word processing, PowerPoint, Excel, Salesforce, advanced spreadsheet, and computing skills are required. Knowledge of basic fundraising principles and practices is helpful.
