Corporate Engagement Manager

Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Participates in fund development efforts to support fundraising revenue originating from corporate/business entities. In partnership with the Director of Development, the Corporate Engagement Manager raises financial support by engaging, stewarding, and increasing funding from corporate donors through he sponsorship of special events, activities, and programs and through local corporate grants up to $25,000.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

1. Responsible for cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding sponsorships, grants, and general donations from
corporations.
2. Manage a portfolio of corporate supporters and prospects and build the pipeline for corporate support.
3. Identify creative opportunities for partners that add value and deepen corporate engagement.
4. Conduct meetings and prepare materials and proposals.
5. Support Director of Development with corporate proposal development.

Other Information/Requirements: 

1. Bachelors degree (or equivalent) with 2 years of directly related work experience, or a minimum of 6 years of
directly related work experience.
2. Demonstrated ability to foster cross-functional collaboration, inclusion, and integration for Council success.
3. Experience in grant-writing preferred.
4. Experience with database management (e.g. Donor Perfect) preferred.
