Community Education and Awareness Coordinator

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The RCCCNM is seeking an energetic, self-motivated individual to plan and implement community education and awareness around all aspects of sexual violence. Successful applicant will provide education and training in a multitude of settings, primarily substance abuse treatment, homeless and incarcerated facilities.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

He or she will collaborate with community members, allied agencies and organizations to develop and maintain partnerships, ascertain education and training needs, and build responses to community violence and sexual assault and abuse and assist in outreach to underserved communities.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
• Experience working with social justice, education, or community-based programs.
• Demonstrated commitment to anti-oppression and social justice issues.
• Strong leadership, collaboration, facilitation and organizational skills.
• Experience organizing and implementing trainings and events.
• Bilingual/Biliterate a plus
