Main Areas of Responsibility:
The Communications Coordinator will lead Explora’s internal and external communication and marketing efforts.
The Coordinator will develop communication strategies that increase awareness of Explora’s impact in the
community; develop marketing campaigns to increase participation in Explora’s exhibits, programs, and projects;
develop marketing relationships with PR professionals; and implement processes that allow for effective communication within Explora.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
The Communications Coordinator will take a lead role in ensuring Explora’s website is
functioning effectively and remaining on brand. This position is highly administrative and includes
budget, schedule management, client relations, creative development, tracking of action items,
coordination of meetings, and overall organization of projects.
