Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

General management including administration & supervision of staff to develop work plans, strategic goals and include specific assignment of responsibilities that ensure NM Voices meets goals and grant proposals. Grants & Program Management -Lead NM Voices’ efforts in grant development, proposals and writing, working with staff teams on developing content and ensuring grant completion. Board of Directors - Coordinate contact with Board members and all reports and agendas for Board meetings.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Provide annual evaluations of supervised staff.

Oversee budget and finances in coordination with Finance Director.

Work with Executive Director to ensure there is an effective integration of work responsibilities and planning that will foster the best results and promote a positive work environment.

Keep the organization in compliance with all federal, state, and regulatory statues, rules and regulations.

Establish organizational infrastructure, policies and risk management.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Seven or more years of management & supervisory experience.
Solid understanding of grant development & management. Experience with program management including reporting to funders, working with coalition members, & coordinating staff.
Understanding of the principles & tools used for policy development & advocacy as demonstrated by relevant job experience.
Strong commitment to improving conditions for children & families in NM.
Bachelor’s degree required, graduate degree preferred.
