Chief Operating Officer

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

•Supporting the ED in developing strategies, goals, policies.
•Developing and leading the internal management processes (e.g., planning, budgeting, reporting, performance reviews)
•Operational leadership –develop plans that support goals and strategies, and provide hands-on coaching to management to achieve goals
•Managing the Financial, IT, and HR
•Board management
•Special projects

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

•Ability in organizational and operational leadership.
•Performance driven, with a track record of achieving ambitious goals.
•Understands how goals are achieved by defining and improving core processes.
•Able to inspire and support individuals and groups. Makes insightful diagnosis for underlying issues, develops plans to improve performance.
•Able to clearly and simply present complex issues.
Experience in mortgage lending, real estate development and/or economic development.

Other Information/Requirements: 

•At least 10 years of professional experience, with a minimum of five years of senior leadership supervising multiple programs/services.
•Solid educational background including an undergraduate degree and an MBA or similar advanced degree.
•Demonstrated track record of building the people and operational performance of an organization.
