Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Media Literacy Project is seeking a motivated, self-driven individual for year-long service to develop a strategic communications and marketing plan for Media Literacy Project and develop a communications curriculum to use with other organizations. The position for the Strategic Communications Coordinator starts August 2, 2010 and ends July 31, 2011.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

• Develop a strategic communications and marketing plan for MLP
• Develop and ensure congruence of MLP’s message
• Assist with pitching stories and responding to media (with press releases, news stories, op-eds)
• Assist with development of educational materials, tools, and resources for communications trainings and curriculum
