Main Areas of Responsibility: 

We are looking for a fun & experienced ESL teacher to teach ESL topics: Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing online and in accordance w/College and Career Readiness standards. The Instructor would take over currently operating online ESL courses via Zoom or Google Meet.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

ESL levels 1, 3, 5 and conversational English meeting, including some evenings. Teaching online classes to adults, curriculum development and evaluation of student outcomes, maintaining accurate records on all students, administering pre- and post-testing instruments such as TABE 11/12 and TABE clas-E, facilitating, in partnership with the adult student, student-specific learning plans that align with student goals and curricula.

Other Information/Requirements: 

BA degree required; ability to work from home required; 1 year experience teaching adults required; intermediate computer competency in MS Office and Google applications (Sheets, Docs, Classroom) required; bilingual English/Spanish preferred; certification in TESOL preferred; experienced with distance learning/online teaching preferred; and experienced in ESL and HSE best practice preferred. Available to teach day and evening classes.

Salary Range: 
Pay range starts at $17.82 per hour/$37,065 annually, DOE.
