Administrative Director

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Administrative Director is a strategic member of the New Day senior leadership team, and reports to the Executive Director. The successful candidate will be a hands-on and participative director and will lead and develop an internal team to support the following areas: Finance, Business Planning and Budgeting, Human Resources, Program Support, Fundraising, Grant Writing, and IT.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

•Direct all activities performed within the admin office, including office management, implementation of procedures & practice, billing processing & collection, records management, collection & reporting of statistics,and all financial, project/program, and grant/contract accounting
•Direct all HR activities including classification and compensation, employee benefits, payroll,& labor relations
•Identify new funding prospects, & assist in generating proposals

Other Information/Requirements: 

QUALIFICATIONS
•7-10 years experience of financial & operations management
•Knowledge of personnel administration, preferably having overseen a HR function previously
•Understanding of required budgeting, accounting & financial management functions
•Leadership skills & communication skills; the ability to work as a leader one day and a subordinate team
•Excellent knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, & QuickBooks
•Ability to multitask and wear many hats in a fast paced environment
