Description

This workshop will share 50+ best practices and practical ideas to enhance a nonprofit's traditional annual campaign, including a discussion of why people give and keep giving, ways to transform your language from asking to presenting opportunities, getting the envelope opened, and how to use the all-important You:Me Ratio.  

Participants will have an opportunity to review samples of direct mail appeals and share what works and doesn't. They will learn best practices in formatting, writing, and mailing appeals. They will learn the value of changing their language and using the You:Me ratio.

Participants can receive 3 CFRE credits for this training. Participants must ask for a CFRE certificate when they check-in on the day of the training.

Guiding Practices for Nonprofits

  • Nonprofits must provide clear and accurate information about fundraising activities, including transparent communication regarding use of funds.

  • Nonprofits should ensure all donor solicitation materials accurately represent the mission and services of the organization.
