Guiding Practices for Nonprofits

  • Nonprofits should adopt a fundraising plan that ensures diverse streams of funding to meet budgeted objectives.

  • Nonprofits should respect donors requests regarding recognition of their contributions and the handling of personal information (e.g., requests for anonymity, frequency, and method of communication).

  • Nonprofits should ensure all donor solicitation materials accurately represent the mission and services of the organization.

The Guide is available as a free digital download at CNPENM.org/Guide. Hard copies of the Guide and Companion Workbook will be available for purchase at this training for $25 each with a credit card or check.
