The budget sets the priorities for a nonprofit's activities.  The budget must reflect the nonprofit's mission, vision and tax exempt purpose.  This session will give you the tools you need to begin preparing an effective budget along with methods of monitoring the budget.

Presenter
E. DeAnn Eaton, CPA, MBA, Chief Executive Officer, is the CEO of La Vida Llena, now Haverland Carter Lifestyle Group.  
Ms. Eaton received a BA from Bethany College, Lindsborg, KS; an MBA from the College of Santa Fe, Albuquerque, NM, and holds a Certified Public Accountant’s license in New Mexico. Ms. Eaton has been an adjunct accounting professor for 19 years at two local colleges.

Ms. Eaton was selected a Top Performing CFO of 2008 by NM Business Weekly.  She is being honored on February 22 as a 2013 Woman of Influence by Albuquerque Business First.  Ms. Eaton is being recognized as a leader who excels in the areas of business and community.  Ms. Eaton is the volunteer Treasurer of the ARCA Foundation Board, and serves as an instructor for the United Way Center for Nonprofit Excellence. She also is a Junior Achievement instructor in partnership with Wells Fargo for Dolores Gonzales Elementary.
