Taking Your Board to the Next Level

Registration is closed for this event

A high functioning board works in partnership with the Executive Director providing guidance and direction, oversight and management.  Members come to board meeting prepared to have substantive discussions and make decisions.  They are active in between meetings.

Does this sound like your board?  When was the last time your board reviewed its performance?  Perhaps it's time for a board assessment to review the skills and competencies that are needed to help your organization fulfill its mission.  This training will show you how it's possible to rebuild your board to be more effective and engaged.

Learning Objectives
- Identify the knowledge and competencies to increase board effectiveness
- Understand the elements and importance of board assessment to identify strengths and areas for improvement
- Understand how to successfully manage the membership of your board

Level
