Getting Started in Social Media

Have you ever made the following statements?
- Social media is just for teenagers.
- I don't see how my nonprofit would benefit from using social media.
- There are so many social media options that I don't know where to start.

Brett and Leila Johnson will prove that social media is important and critical for nonprofits to reach their constituents (and not just the younger ones!).  They will explain how to get started in social media by using Facebook, Twitter and YouTube in ways that support your message and don't take too much time.  Also, they will share some of the real world techniques that their clients use.

Bring your laptop for this hands on leap into social media.
