How effectively do you engage your volunteers?  Are you meeting their needs as well as those of your organization and the community?  How do you demonstrate your appreciation of their time and efforts?  This workshop will share best practices and increase your knowledge concerning effective volunteer recruitment, retention and recognition.

Introductory: for anyone who works with volunteers and those who manage volunteer programs.

Presenters
Nina Lohr-Valdez and Diane Hinte

Nina Lohr-Valdez has a Masters Degree in Administration of Community Services.  She has been professionally involved in volunteer management since 1995 and is currently a trainer with the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society where she trains Volunteer Leadership Development.

Diane Hinte was the Volunteer Coordinator at Jewish Family Service and then went to La Familia, Inc. where she set up their Volunteer Program.  She is presently a community volunteer.
