Reporting and Communicating Evaluation Results

Registration is closed for this event

In "What Do Donors Want?," a recent article in Nonprofit Quarterly, the authors state that there is little question that data, metrics, and measurements have become embedded into the philanthropic process in recent years - practices that were initially met with deep skepticism but eventually gained traction from nonprofits and philanthropic institutions.  Today, in fact, few would argue against the need for more evidence-based measures of progress, outcomes, and impact.

Nonprofits are in various stages of development in regards to program evaluation.  Collecting the data is only one step; it is just as critical to be able to effectively convey those findings to your various stakeholders.

This course will help organizations effectively communicate and report the findings of their evaluations.  Participants will explore the various audiences of an evaluation, their information needs, and ways to effectively communicate evaluation findings.
