The Invisible Yellow Line - Board & Staff Roles

Registration is closed for this event

You know how a yellow line appears on the field on TV when you watch a football game?  It's invisible to those on the field--it moves and its placement is often in contention.  The same is true of one of the most difficult 'lines' to clarify between Board and Staff.  This workshop will explore who does what in nonprofit management: planning, human resources, fundraising, PR and marketing and administration.  Learn best practices, how to define the Yellow Line and take a quiz that will stimulate discussion in your nonprofit.  It will be high energy, entertaining and useful!

Presented by Jean Block, Jean Block Consulting is a nonprofit management pro with more than 45 years of experience.  She is also a founding principal of Social Enterprise Ventures.  Jean has written two books about nonprofits, "The ABC's of Better Boards," and "Fast Fundraising Facts for Fame and Fortune."
