This workshop will offer a comprehensive look at the leadership and generational shifts in the nonprofit sector. It will provide:

- Insight on how individuals, organizations, and the nonprofit sector can all play an important part in paving the way for more vibrant and expansive leadership in the nonprofit sector;

- Discussion around barriers to finding new generation leaders;

- Concrete ideas on how to approach generational changes in leadership so that the contributions of long-time leaders are valued and new and younger leaders' talent is recognized.

Presenters are Robby Rodriguez, Executive Director, SouthWest Organizing Project and co-author of Working Across Generations: Defining the Future of Nonprofit Leadership and Monica Cordova, Director of Community Organizing, SouthWest Organizing Project.

Each organization attending will receive a copy of the book Working Across Generations: Defining the Future of Nonprofit Leadership .
