Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in non-profit fundraising and volunteer management and will allow volunteers to take the lead in maintaining a healthy volunteer pool, planning and executing outreach events, and overseeing community supported fundraising opportunities throughout the community. The Coordinator will attend regular new volunteer orientations and volunteer meet and greets as well as local events put together by the Coordinator. Additionally, the Coordinator will serve as the leader and representative of the Paws and Stripes volunteer community, 140 strong!

Who Will Be Impacted Through This Project: 

The mission of Paws and Stripes(TM) is to assist U.S. military veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and traumatic brain injury (TBI) as well as local shelter dogs by providing integrative service dog training and mental health support to veterans and their families.

All interested individuals must complete an application, interview, and reference check. You must exhibit a positive attitude and an understanding of teamwork.
