Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

Saranam is looking for a tech-savvy volunteer who can help families experiencing homelessness with their technical needs. This person will assist with the set-up and maintenance of our residents' laptops and provide technical support as needed. Volunteer needed once per week, time and date flexible.

Who Will Be Impacted Through This Project: 

Every adult in our program is pursuing higher education and a working computer is essential in the current learning environment. This volunteer will ensure that they learn at their best!

Nonprofit Will Provide: 

Computers, training, and access to Zoom account.

Additional Requirements: 

Some of the skills that will be necessary are:
- Familiarity with Windows 10 and 11
-Experience setting up Microsoft accounts for users
-Experience using Microsoft Onedrive
-Experience with Microsoft Office installation and basic Microsoft Office skills
-Experience setting up PCs to access wireless networks
-Experience with replacing batteries and hard drives in PCs
- Experience with ZOOM
