Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

Our organization is looking for new board members to join our time and help raise awareness for our cause. Although we welcome all interested professionals, we are particularly interested in those experienced in accounting, finance, marketing, or legal fields.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Attending monthly Board meetings
Attend, support, and participate in special events; represent Paws and Stripes(TM) in public and private sectors throughout the community
Fully understand and support the mission of Paws and Stripes(TM)
Approve organizational policies
Develop and monitor a strategic plan based on our Annual Business Plan as well as short and long term goals
Bring personal and professional expertise to the Board of Directors
Ensure Paws and Stripes(TM) meets all legal and ethical requirements

Who Will Be Impacted Through This Project: 

The mission of Paws and Stripes(TM) is to assist U.S. military veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and traumatic brain injury (TBI) as well as local shelter dogs by providing integrative service dog training and mental health support to veterans and their families.
