Description of the Volunteer Opportunity: 

12 ALBERTSONS stores - NE, SW, SE - is having a Diaper Drive to support the DIAPER BANK OF NEW MEXICO. Each store will have a 6 foot table outside the store's entrance and ask if you could bring a folding chair for yourself. We will provide bottles of water for you. Your role would be to welcome customers to Albertson, inform them that Albertsons is donating all diapers purchases to the DIAPER BANK OF NEW MEXICO which distributes diapers/incontinence products to 40 social service agencies. Share with customers that the DIAPER BANK OF NEW MEXICO has distributed more than 42,000 diapers/incontinence products to families that can not afford to purchase them for their children or elders for themselves.
You will gently ask the to consider helping ALBERTSONS help the DIAPER BANK who helps fill a very basic need - diapers of all sizes. Wish them a nice day.

40 social service agencies to whom the DIAPER BANK OF NEW MEXICO distributes diapers/incontinence products will then be able to distribute the diapers/incontinence products to their clients.

Tables, bottles of waters, brochures, posterboard list of agencies to whom the Diaper Bank of NM provides diapers/incontence products.

Additional Requirements: 

We will provide a 6 foot table, bottles of waters and bathrooms available inside each Albertsons.

Perhaps each volunteer might consider bringing a folding chair as Albertsons might not have chairs to put out by tables.
