Main Areas of Responsibility:
Responsible for the logistics, coordination and instruction of technology training workshops to create Native American language materials. Coordinate schedules and contacts for both on-site and off-site training workshops, design and preparation of training materials, native language teaching templates, technology-based language materials. Prepare reports after workshops. Research hardware and software upgrades to support training workshop goals and initiatives. Some travel involved.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Excellent working knowledge of effective training methods, techniques and experience in conducting training to various group sizes. Must have experience in working with Native American communities. Must have the ability to interact well with people with various levels of technical experience with sensitivity, patience and professionalism. Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Education, IT-related field, or Linguistics, 3 yr work experience.
