Main Areas of Responsibility:
o Recruit and oversee unpaid community volunteers and agencies to conduct SNAP screening and application assistance.
o Increase access to nutritious food options by expanding outreach and programming to increase utilization of benefits at community farmers markets
o Create reports, materials, and presentations for use in educational presentations and advocacy meetings.
o Coordinate activities to present information and education on food insecurity, poverty and food assistance need.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
This position is located in Albuquerque and is provided in conjunction with the Anti-Hunger and Opportunity Corps. The duration for this position is one year and the person will receive a bi-weekly stipend. The benefits are listed below.
