Main Areas of Responsibility:
The VP for Finance and Administration oversees all operations divisions, Finance Committee, budgeting functions, audit function. SAR operates with an endowment of $30 million, a budget of $3.5 million; develops financial procedures, directs their implementation, proposes financial policies to SAR’s Board of Directors; and is the board’s assistant treasurer.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Experience: BA in accounting or related field; CPA or MBA. Five years’ minimum experience in nonprofit/fund accounting. Problem-solving, budget, computer skills, Excel, Blackbaud Financial Edge, Raiser’s Edge, and supervisory. Capital campaign, strategic planning, goal setting, and being part of executive team.
