Specialty Courts Community Support Worker

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Support Worker to provide CCSS (comprehensive community support services) to clients in the ROP (Recovery Outreach Program). This position will work closely with Metro Court as a liaison for clients in addition to Community Support work.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Providing intensive Community Support for clients with severe mental illness and/or with substance abuse issues.

Assist and advocate for clients with short term needs/supports and long-range planning in the following areas: housing, psychiatric, substance abuse, medical, community supports, legal, dental, ADL's, interpersonal, community activity and employment as needed or appropriate.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Bachelor's degree in human services related field.
At least one (1) year in case management, direct care, substance abuse counseling, or other CCSS-related employment.
Experience with homelessness population.
Experience with Court System preferred.
