Special Events Coordinator

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Planning & executing fundraising events and vol recruitment events. Primarily for creating the Bowl for Kids’ Sake Event. As part of the Partnership team, helps plan & execute events & activities directed at recruiting male vol's & other vol's. As part of the Fund Development team, participates, as needed, in major gift strategy sessions for past and current major gift donors, helping the development team identify and implement strategic engagement and fundraising opportunities.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Coordinate the agency’s development events, including Bowl for Kids’ Sake and volunteer recruitment and orientation events; Host all events, as requested by leadership; Create and execute follow-up strategy after each event; and Participate in Agency Development team meetings.

Other Information/Requirements: 

BA req'd, Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
2+ years of event planning, fund raising, sales experience, and/or transferable skills
