The Resident Intern position is a learning opportunity for those interested in working with disadvantaged populations. The position is an evening, live-in opportunity in which you are working closely with two other evening staff members (one resident intern and our facilities manager) while providing services and fostering a community culture of support, empowerment, and encouragement. While fostering this community culture, the resident intern's duties fall into three categories:

While fostering this community culture, the resident intern's duties fall into three categories; Mentoring, Supervision and House Management. The resident interns are provided a private room within their assigned house, a $200 a month stipend and $200 food allowance. The hours of the position begin between 5:45 and 6pm when residents are returning home with 2 nights off per week. Training and Supervision is provided by our LMSW Program Director.
