PT Resource Development Assistant

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Coordinates and assists the Center’s resource development efforts to support and extend organizational advancement and financial operations of the Center.
Operational support for the RD Director, volunteer leaders and committees; Admin. support for all fundraising events; Managing donor records and communication for Center; Assist with other Center duties as assigned.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Word-processing, preparing and sending out mailings, communication and support for resource development committees, arranging and recording committee meetings (taking minutes, coordinating schedules), scheduling, arranging, and coordinating staff and volunteer meetings with donors, managing donor records and sending thank you notes to donors, and understanding of grant writing, reporting, and support activities.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Assoc. degree or higher, 2 years of exp. in nonprofit office work preferred; Excellent Comp. Skills (Microsoft Office Suite; Adobe Creative Suites; Donor Software exp. preferred); Excellent writing & math skills; Ability to track & stay current with multiple projects & records; Ability to deal professionally & effectively with the public & maintain confidentiality, including HIPAA compliance.
