PT Adult Education Manager

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

SCC is seeking a part-time Adult Education Manager to provide development and oversight to our adult education programs which support a commitment to continuous learning and building employable skills and wellness for adults. The Adult Education Manager reports directly to the Program Director and is responsible for complete oversight of the SCC’s adult education programming, including English classes and tutoring, GED acquisition, U.S. citizenship classes and yoga classes.

Other Information/Requirements: 

•BA/BS or 4+ years professional experience in program coordination and teaching, preferably with a focus on adult education in ESOL and GED acquisition
•Fluency in Spanish and English (spoken and written)
•Strong skills in staff and volunteer management (recruitment, screening, orientation, and evaluation)
•Ability to adopt and adapt new curricula and teaching resources
•Ability to perform program evaluation and data collection related to evaluation
•Strong time management skills
