Main Areas of Responsibility:
The Program Associate works closely with the Policy Advocate and Executive Director to implement strategies to meet paid family & medical leave and childcare policy goals. The right candidate has excellent interpersonal skills, is comfortable engaging and collaborating with diverse groups, can convey complex topics to different audiences, and is committed to SWLC’s mission.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Responsibilities include: coalition management, meeting coordination and facilitation, listserv management, coordination of public events and presentations, community outreach and mobilizing volunteers and community leaders to support policy goals, development of communications tools, conducting research and analysis for SWLC’s policy and administrative priorities, and assisting with timely and accurate grant reporting.
