Main Areas of Responsibility:
Connecting employers to our clients in our day shelter and our behavioral health programs to help clients find employment. Must be able to engage employers and "sell" the benefits of hiring our clients. Many of our clients are hard to place due to criminal backgrounds, mental illness/homeless issues. Persistence and committment to our mission is a must. Experience in Case Management, HR staffing/recruiting or sales helpful.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Assess clients' employment needs, desires, interests, & experience as well as related talents and hobbies; Assist clients in writing resumes, completing applications and interviews; Assist finding appropriate interview/work clothes as needed; Work with clients on grooming & hygiene related to employment; Link clients to other employment related resources such as drivers licenses, transportation, etc.; Link and /or escort clients to benefits counseling at Project Succeed.
