Interim Executive Director

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The interim ED (IED) will guide overall vision and coordination of programs and operations. IED will work with the Board, staff and educational partners to coordinate contracts, program details, broadcast schedules, staff meetings and oversight of services. Strategic planning, budget projections and budget accountability, new partnerships, fundraising, generating new funding streams, sustaining relationships with current and prospective donors and grant reports are also the IED's responsibility.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

o Working with the YMP Board, including: coordination of agendas, financials, reporting, board recruitment and oversight to subcommittees
o Fundraising: provide continuity and growth in revenue streams
o Institutional Partnerships and contractual commitments: current and new
o Oversight of project development with partner educators/non---profits and fees for service
o Schedule staff meetings and development meetings with consultant
o Oversee human resources and organizational policies

Other Information/Requirements: 

Qualifications:
o Previous experience as an executive director or administrator of a non-profit organization.
o Familiarity with New Mexico communities and educational institutions.
o Experience in developing partnerships and collaborations.
o Experience with academic structures and ability to navigate intersections between YMP
and Higher Education settings.
o Successful fundraising track record.
o Experience with quality media productions and experiential education pedagogy.
