Main Areas of Responsibility: 

The Housing and Homelessness Director (HHP) directs and coordinates all services provided by the department. The Director works closely with the 15+ Faith Based communities that are part of ABQ FaithWorks. As a member of the leadership team, the HHP ensures quality service delivery to fulfill the vision and mission of the organization.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Through a network of volunteers and other service providers in the community, coordinate all aspects of direct services to clients.
Promote the program throughout the Albuquerque community and the ABQ FaithWorks member congregations.
Devise and oversee a strong and engaged process for member congregations to respond to those in need.
Collaborate with community service providers to enhance successful referral collaboration.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Knowledge of homeless issues.
Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively lead volunteers and staff to execute the program.
Strong organizational ability to design and lead program development.
Ability to work effectively in collaboration with diverse groups of people.
Ability to work effectively as a team player within a rapidly growing and changing organization.
