Housing Program Manager

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

This person is responsible for all management of housing programs through HUD grants. Duties include managing intake of new housing clients, communication documentation needs with community support workers, reviewing housing policies with clients, routine housing inspections, closely following all requirements of grants, maintaining database to track rental property and rent payments due.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

This individual must be able to work effectively with a wide range of individuals including clients, case managers, directors, community personnel, landlords and funders.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Must have at least 1 year housing experience with strong knowledge of and experience with Section 8 and other relevant housing regulations. BA/BS in Business Administration or related field strongly preferred but relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Must be detail oriented and have excellent administrative and organizational skills including computer skills with proficiency in word, excel and access or other similar database.
