Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Responsible for direct housing services. Oversight of housing vouchers and relationships between landlords and tenants/clients. Housing Intake and follow-up, Evaluate for appropriateness and prioritize per availability; Monitor compliance with case management program; Conduct Intake meetings, initial and annual HQS; Provide housing information to referral sources; Review applications for program eligibility; Assist clients with housing search

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Prepare check requests to landlords for initial rent up; Maintain records of client portions of rent collected, send monthly late notices; Act as liaison to landlords and clients; Maintain client files in a manner matching or exceeding HUD expectations; Enter data in HMIS and into agency housing database; Maintain record of HUD re-inspections; Work with Supervisor in performing annual site visits; Prepare and disseminate communications with clients and landlords

Other Information/Requirements: 

Undergraduate degree in Human Service Related Field. Or at least 2 years housing experience or 2+ years CSW or Program Management; SDMI experience; Interest and knowledge in homeless people and their particular needs preferred; Bilingual preferred
