Job Description
Type of Job: 
Full-Time
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

• Handles all fundraising initiatives and tasks for the following areas:
o Annual Fund/Mid-Year Appeal
o Capital/Endowment Campaigns
o Director’s Circle Membership Program
o Memorial and Honorary Giving Programs
o Planned Giving
o Grants
o Special Events
• Secures financial support from individuals, foundations, and corporations.
• Develops and maintains ongoing relationships with major donors.
• Communicates with donors via email, phone, social media, and face to face

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

• Plans and evaluates fundraising campaigns and activities.
• Provides board members and resource development volunteers with plans, information, and support services needed to be effective fundraisers.
• Directly participates in prospect identification, cultivation, and solicitation process.

Other Information/Requirements: 

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of five years’ fund development experience, preferably in a Museum setting.
• Exceptional language skills, both oral and written.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple high priority activities simultaneously.
