Finance Director

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Ensure effective accounting and financial systems, policies, practices, including all aspects of banking, cash transaction processing, cash management, payroll, employee benefits, book keeping, allocations, tax/other governmental reporting, financial/tax planning, audit preparation/process, preparation of reports, tax returns, financial analysis.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Effective problem solver
Effective/professional communicator
Sound written, verbal communication skills, sound listening skills
Highly organized, flexible to changes in work priorities/circumstances, can multi-task
College degree required, with at least five years relevant experience in non-profit financial management and tax preparation. CPA/CPA candidate preferred.
Computer-literate, experienced in e-mail, Excel, Quickbooks, Word, financial/tax software
