Finance Director

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Finance Director is responsible for performing the financials and accounting functions of the Foundation, which includes financial statement prep and analysis along with managing aspects of the endowment and operating budget, as well as oversight of the financial operations of the Gallery Store and Patio Market LLC.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

This position interfaces across all areas of the Foundation and interacts with the Board and committee members, museum staff, auditors and property managers requiring sophisticated communication, customer service, positive attitude and professional skills.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Requirements:
o Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration or finance
o Minimum of five years in accounting
o Must be honest and trustworthy
o Preparation of financial reports and budgets
o Expert knowledge of Quick-books
o Detail oriented
o Effective communication skills
o Desired knowledge of property management
o Desired supervisory experience
o Desired knowledge of net for profit accounting practices
