Main Areas of Responsibility:
The Finance Coordinator provides primary administrative and fiscal support as well as overseeing support staff a tax exempt non-profit organization in the South Valley of Bernalillo County. Primary duties include supporting staff and operations through managing a complex Peachtree-based accounting system with multiple funding sources and projects.
Duties also include working with multiple community organizations in providing fiscal sponsorship, managing payroll, and other support services.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Bilingual applicants (Spanish) preferred, as is knowledge of the community.
Qualifications include:
• Accounting experience, including proficiency in Peachtree or QuickBooks (Nonprofit experience preferred)
• Experience with payroll and tax preparation is a plus
• Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds and experience levels
• Community-oriented
• Experience with human resources is a plus
