Main Areas of Responsibility: 

It is the Director of Creativity and Learning’s responsibility to create, manage, and supervise all of SITE Santa Fe’s Educational Programs and to build strong relationships with local educational institutions. Leads, supervises, and mentors the Education Department team, reports to the Deputy Director, and works collaboratively with other departments to ensure that SITE Santa Fe’s education programs are aligned with the institution’s mission and exhibition program.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

- Collaborate with educational institutions to develop meaningful and impactful projects and programs, and continue to develop and expand successful working relationships with Santa Fe Public Schools, private schools, colleges and universities in northern New Mexico; other non-profits and cultural institutions in the region, the City of Santa Fe, as well as a cohort of museums across the country.

Other Information/Requirements: 

- At least 7+ years of experience in a progressive role in the arts education or museum field.
- At least 5+ years of experience managing and leading a team or department.
- Spanish speaking, preferred.
- Ability to prioritize and manage time, take initiative, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with rapidly shifting priorities.
