Main Areas of Responsibility:
Girls on the Run Rio Grande seeks a dedicated volunteer Director for a long-term commitment. Working from home for approx. 20 hours/week, the Director is responsible for the overall implementation of the GOTR mission, and reports to a Board. Job duties include developing and implementing strategy and vision for the program, and all organizational and operational aspects including administration, finances, revenue generation, program development and activities, and personnel management.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
The Council Director must possess a passion for improving the lives and opportunities of girls in Bernalillo and Valencia counties. The ideal candidate will be comfortable engaging in strategic activities as well as taking a hands-on role in program execution and administrative issues. Prior experience working with nonprofit organizations is required, and preferred consideration will be given to those with skills in fundraising, marketing, volunteer management and/or strategic planning.
