Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Designs and implements fundraising campaigns using direct mail, personal solicitation, benefit events, involvement of business organizations, appeals to philanthropic organizations and planned giving through estate planning, bequests, trusts, etc. Develops and designs correspondence, brochures and other materials to solicit gifts.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Develops rapport with existing and potential donors to discuss giving options. Suggests specific programs and medical needs that could be addressed through gifts. Provides reports and information to key prospects and donors through newsletters, mailings and hospital updates.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Bachelor's degree in business or related field. Minimum of 6 years experience in fundraising or closely related field.

Requires detailed knowledge of fundraising, marketing and/or public relations in terms of what and how work is to be done as well as why it is done, this level includes interpretation of data.
