Clinical Director/Shelter Manager

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

Valencia Shelter is looking for an experienced Clinical Director to join our humble team. This role has many responsibilities with primary role of Clinical Director over a small team of professional counselors including file management and quarterly client review.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Other responsibilities include management and oversight of Helen’s House – our shelter for women and their children fleeing domestic violence –counseling, weekly DV education and support group, weekly goal review for shelter and transitional housing clients, oversee training for staff, conduct portions of training for shelter advocates, and other duties as assigned.

Other Information/Requirements: 

Minimum requirements: Licensure in State of New Mexico (LMFT, LISW, LPCC), Master’s Degree, one year experience as clinical director, four years experience counseling, two years managing staff of five or more, strong understanding of the dynamics of domestic violence, strong communication skills, strong computer and software skills. Compensation dependant upon experience.
