Main Areas of Responsibility:
Manages contracts for contractors of services including physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech and language pathology, special instruction, social work, family counseling and others in the Children’s and Therapy Department.
Develops systems for tracking contract requirements, billing, and productivity.
Reviews status of timeliness in medical records.
Assures appropriate distribution of caseload.
Assists in community public relations.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Assures appropriate completion of documentation by all Children’s and Therapy staff and contractors.
Reviews policy and procedures manual and recommends updates as needed.
Assists in orientation of staff on policies and procedures.
Collaborates with the Finance Department on quality assurance in billing, tracking, and measuring productivity.
Assists Director of Children’s and Therapy Services with outcome measurements for children’s services.
