Arts & Crafts Show Coordinator - Contract Services

Job Description
Main Areas of Responsibility: 

We are seeking RFPs for event planning, coordination & leadership of our largest fundraiser, Girls Inc. Arts & Crafts Show. Planning is underway with most booths sold & other duties on track for timely completion. Our coordinator is moving out of the country so we are looking for someone that can step up & continue the forward momentum. The show will be on the plaza 8/1-8/3. It requires a strong leader that can work with our volunteer events committee to coordinate and lead this show.

Additional Areas of Responsibility: 

Our intent would be to utilize your services in order to plan, coordinate & carry out the entire event, including taking responsibility over all aspects of a successful event. While we understand that there can be no guarantee on attendance or financial results, we know that a strong leader in this role is the key to our success. Time frame: May 12 - August 15, 2014.

Other Information/Requirements: 

The proposal should address the following items: 1. Background & experience with similar events, i.e. funds raised at events, types of event, etc.; 2. References, including contact info of at least 2 similar events; 3. If coordinating other events in Northern NM, please address any conflict of interest & how you plan on addressing them; 4. High-level overview of how you would handle the challenge of increasing attendance, public awareness & net income related to this event.
