WESST
Our mission is to be a home to entrepreneurs. We strive to provide a support system for our clients so they can successfully grow their business through market penetration, job creation, and capital accumulation.
Training – A variety of workshops and courses designed to meet the needs of entrepreneurs starting and growing businesses; topics include accounting, marketing, business planning, internet marketing, search engine optimization, social media, etc.
Consulting – One-on-one sessions conducted by WESST staff and a network of affiliates and community volunteers tailored to the specific needs of clients;
Loans – A revolving loan fund offering low-interest loans to New Mexican entrepreneurs. Special Programs - including and Youth Individual Development Account program which provides financial literacy training and a matched savings program to low-income individuals; and a Refugee Microenterprise Program targeted to political refugees residing in New Mexico.
Business incubation – The WESST Enterprise Center is a mixed-use business incubator in downtown Albuquerque offering state-of-the-art amenities and business assistance to 20 manufacturing, service, and technology businesses. WESST customizes support to accelerate growth and encourage long-term success. The facility is currently 100% occupied.
